I am a student of philosophy. I am interested and have some knowledge of the following subjects: classical first order logic, philosophy of mathematics, set theory, informal logic, analytic philosophy with a focus on metaphysics and the philosophy of Bertrand Russell, twentieth century US history, history of the first Napoleonic empire and history of the demise of the Roman republic. I am also interested in modern English and Russian literature (but my knowledge of that subject is limited to the works I have read which aren't many). I also enjoy comic books (strictly speaking some arcs of 'The Amazing Spiderman' and 'Ultimate Spiderman'), manga and anime (especially CLAMP and works by Key later adapted by Kyoto Animation such as 'Kanon'). Movies interest me a great deal as well, I have some knowledge of movie history and specific films & directors. Video games is also a subject of interest, especially The Final Fantasy series as well as the Fallout series and series by Blizzard such as Warcraft (though not WoW) and Starcraft. I have some basic training also in microeconomics as well as some knowledge of international relations and political philosophy. I am an avid reader of the New York Times and The Economist. I hope to contribute to wikipedia.
