Michael Merchant

 Born and raised in Poquoson, VA. Michael Merchant grew up with a love for movies starting from a young age, but just recently started beginning his career in the movie industry. His first role was in an independant film Big Fish in Middlesex. The movie was never completed. After having lived out of his house for a year due to Hurricane Isabael, Michael returned to his passion for movies. Starting Kick Ass Production with a friend, Todd Hunt, he began writting his first script entitled PVZCA: The Beginning. The movie was originally planned to be a trilogy, and was started during his senior year of high school. The movie got off to a spectacular beginning; with his talent with comedy, video editing, and acting being a powerful ally. Later that year Michael and Todd graduated from Poquoson High School only to go off to college. Michael stayed at home to attend Thomas Nelson Community College, while Todd went to James Madison University. PVZCA was never completed due to half the cast having to leave the area to attend colleges. Before the end of his high school career he wrote another script entitled "The Second Story Workers". This was intended to be a short film, but again that was never shot due to the same reasons. Currently Michael is still attending TNCC but plans to attend CNU very soon to persue an education in video editing and acting.
