'A Glorious Day' is an American 2012, 15-minute short film that deals with the topic of self-style jihadists. It shows suicide bomber Raul getting ready to sacrifice himself in a crowded place in Miami, without knowing that his best friend Angela is too close to him.
'A Glorious Day' shows a part of a feature film entitled 'Lone Wolves,' which would explore the tragic lives of a handful of young suicide bombers in New York, Miami, Madrid, Paris, London, Kabul, Islamabad, Nairobi and Manila. 'Lone Wolves' will follow British Interpol Special Agent Amy Bennett in her doomed investigation aimed at stopping these youngsters from sacrificing themselves and killing many people, and to find the whereabouts of the master mind behind this global, dark and bloody struggle strategy.
In the credits, 'A Glorious Day' includes this quote: "We are witnessing the next stage of terrorism...," said by Sajjan Gohel, director of International Security at the Asia Pacific Foundation, a London-based counter terrorism think tank. He said this after the terrorist attacks perpetrated by Mohammed Merah, a self-styled al Qaeda jihadist, who was shot dead by French police after he killed seven people in Toulouse and Montauban, France.
