Joel Chan (Chinese: 陈显荣) is a Singapore-born, United States-based photographer.

Career

JOEL CHAN — Joel is a very talented artist who’s extensively pursued a classic career in drawing/painting, and has since branched off into the graphic realm with design and photography/videography as well. His abnormally high energy level allows him to bring a plethora of ideas to any project he’s working on. His style is influenced by abstract angles and perspectives, bright colors, high contrast, and strong emotions and expressions with subjects. He focuses on portraiture, advertising, and fashion photography. He also uses Adobe Photoshop © CS5 and Adobe Lightroom © 3 to edit his images to bring them to the next level of quality.

He has extensively studied and practiced lighting, and has brought an impressive amount of equipment to do many creative needs. Expect any production and photo shoot by Joel to be expertly lit, on location or in the studio.

His graphic design and conceptual drawing design style is very intricate with a strong grunge/abstract influence.
