Lu Yan(Pinyin： 鹿小眼 ; born September 26, 1998) is a Chinese-Bhutanese-Indian idol singer, rapper, dancer, actor, model, lyricist, promotional model, MC, and radio host. She is a member of co-ed group CAO MEI as the main rapper, lead dancer, visual and maknae.

CAO MEI

Main article: BEST In 2011, she was chosen as a member of the group CAO MEI, the 4-member co-ed group debuted on January 25, 2012.

Pre-debut Before debuting with BEST, Xiao modeled for Kevin Ling's Fall Collection F/W 11-12 in March 2011, six months before CAO MEI's debut stage.

Acting Xiao debuted as an actor on November 28, 2011 in a drama special, entitled "Saranghae Lee Jong Suk". Composing Yan is known to have written and co-written several of the raps in CAO MEI's albums. In their 1st studio album THE END, she co-wrote the raps to "Peace", "Drama", "Heart Breaker", "Go", "Superstar", and "Shining Star". In 2012, for their 2nd mini-album Fire, he co-wrote "Beside Me", "Fire", "Mean", and "Zoom". In their 2nd studio album SHOUTOUT released in July 2012, she wrote the rap to "WOW". She is also credited for creating additional raps to the songs "Baby", "Beautiful", and "Hangover" in their 1st Japanese studio album, The First released in August 2012. She also wrote the rap for a cover that she did at Malaysia, called "Speed".

Personal life Xiao graduated from Lisgar Middle School on June 28, 2012. She was born in Spain. She lived their till she was 3 years old. She moved to China and lived their till she was 8 and travelled for 4 years around Asia with her school exchange programs then moved to Canada at the age of 12. She is a gold-medalist in swimming and green belt in wushu.
