LinguiJosh is a linguist, polyglot and occasional genealogist from the United Kingdom. He has a wide range of interests, including (but not limited to):

  • Linguistics, in all its forms. Most of his work and specialism revolves around the usage (active and passive) of linguistic 'experiences'; this includes (but again is not limited to) language exchange, L1 and L2+ acquisition, and the reception of language within popular music.
  • Popular music, specifically within European countries. This is particularly stark within the world of boybands, Eurovision Song Contest, and French popular music (1960s-2020s). Otherwise, LinguiJosh is heavily involved in discovering and promoting little-known artists who some consider "cheesy" or "just not very good".
  • Geocaching, in all its forms. He is normally geocaching if he is not doing anything else.
