I now reside in Stockholm, educated in Scotland, Modern Languages degree in 1985 from the University of Strathclyde

Worked in software industry in Bracknell, Berkshire, England. Completed a Post-Graduate Certificate of Education in 1994 at the University of Reading to teach Modern Languages in English schools. Returned to IT environment in 1995 training many users in MS Office, Wordperfect, MS Exchange and Outlook as well as bespoke systems.

Over the years I have also worked admininstratively and delivered some software tools training over the Web. I want to complete some more structured technical writing education and have enrolled in the Wiki course. Having moved to Stockholm in 2008 (married a Swede), I find it challenging living here without my social network.

My hobbies are acting and trying to keep fit. Skiing is my favourite sport. I was a late starter but the majesty of mountains and snow has won me over and I am a confirmed addict!
