I'm an avid ZX Spectrum fan who is trying to get some more ZX Spectrum content onto Wikipedia. There are thousands of older games out there that are not getting the recognition that they deserve. Considering that the Spectrum is one of the few machines whose owners (Amstrad) have allowed redistribution of the necessary ROM files to emulate the machine, this action has received surpisingly little recognition. I regularly still play all my old ZX Spectrum games (and even in some cases have contributed tape images to archives).
My favourite ZX Spectrum games were:
- Target: Renegade
- Batty
- Kikstart 2
- Commando
- Ikari Warriors
- Spy Hunter
- Match Day II
- Rampage
- Chaos
- Software House
- Gauntlet and Gauntlet II
- Back to Skool
- The Dizzy Series
- Saboteur
- Dan Dare
- Hyper Sports
- Bruce Lee
- Nonterraqueous
- Underwurlde
