This is a Help Guide for the Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire Versions for the Game Boy Advance

This page is brought to you by Sabo-Travis

This page was created to help all those gamers out there who are frustrated, struggling and need help in completing the rest of their Pokemon Ruby and Pokemon Sapphire games.

(This guide is recomended for those who already have all eight gym badges.)

Defeating the Elite Four

Some of you might have trouble defeating the Elite Four. The most recommended pokemon I suggest you use to defeat them are: Mightyena, Lapras, a strong fire pokemon of your choice(make sure it knows powerful fire moves) and three other pokemon that you choose. The reason I recommend these are:

1. Mightyena will definately help you to defeat the second member, Phoebe, and the third member, Steven's, Claydoll.

2. Lapras will help in beating Drakes' dragon pokemon, and Sidney's Cacturn and Shiftry.

3. The fire pokemon should help with Steven's steel types and the rest will help you with Glacia (You should probably use an electric or rock type.)

You must make sure to teach your pokemon a variety of different moves so that they can defeat a variety of different types of pokemon more easily.

Battle Tower

(Recommended teams)

I only have one team to suggest for defeating the Battle Tower and that is:

1. Metagross, this pokemon has few weakness' and isn't affected by poison moves. Metagross can also learn many moves (a good one to teach him is Aerial Ace.)

2. Latias/Latios, these are good pokemon they have high speed and can learn thunder (a good move to have in the Battle Tower)

3.Walrein, this pokemon is just good to have in your party it learns awesome and powerful ice-type moves that you can use to your advantage.

Pokemon Contests

To beat all the contests you first should give your pokemon maximum poke blocks that raise one ability. Then show that pokemon to the president of the fan club in Slateport, he'll give you a scarf that raises the category of the ability your pokemonhas maximum poke blocks of.

Cool: I used an Electabuzz because most electric moves are cool.

Beauty: My Lapras came in handy here considering that most of the moves it learns are beautiful.

Cute: This was a challenge but my Linoone was used to win this contest.

Smart: The Venemoth I caught and traded from Fire Red version was fine in this contest.

Tough: It took me a long time to beat this competiton, I used my Rhydon to win.

The Hoenn Pokedex

Wow this was hard to complete! All 202 new pokemon can be caught in Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald but it's still not easy to finish (note:all versions Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire are needed to complete this pokedex.)
