I have a professional and academic background in strategic management, followed by developing specialist expertise in system dynamics (SD) - time-based modeling of social/economic/environmental systems, in my case mostly business-related. See my LinkedIn profile.

I was previously President of the International System Dynamics Society where a key responsibility is to build the awareness and use of SD to tackle complex challenges, including some of major global importance, such as climate change and disease eradication. Although SD is a long-established, rigorous scientific method, both awareness and use remain at very low levels, so my Wikipedia activity is focused on providing information to solve that challenge.

I have a potential conflict-of-interest in this - my business provides software, models, training and courses for applying SD to real-world situations, especially in business. I therefore rely on others' publications and knowledge, and positively avoid including my own publications and links to my own websites. Critical to understanding dynamic complexity is to provide readers with the opportunity to experience how situations behave over time, and experiment with options to affect that behaviour through links to easy-to-use SD-based simulation models. Any such links in pages I propose will include directing the reader to all the alternative SD-modeling tools that are available, to avoid promoting my own product.

... definition and specification of "asset stocks" - ubiquitous real-world entities with unique properties whose behaviour is fundamental to how complex systems behave (populations or quantities of materials or things that accumulate and deplete, such as fish-stocks, bank-account balances, atmospheric CO2 levels).

... definition of "living business models" - working, quantified simulations usable for designing, testing and continuous management of business or functional plans, issues or initiatives. (as distinct from the widespread qualitative, descriptive "business model" frameworks and methods.

... definition of "agile strategy" to encourage this phrase (which is in emerging usage) to become properly defined, rather than another ill-defined slogan (like so many business terms).
