A native Californian. Katie grew up in Northern California in the city of Santa Rosa. After studying performing arts at the Santa Rosa Junior College Katie left home for 9 months to chase her true passion, Aviation, at Mazzei Flying Service in Fresno. Katie has flown a wide variety of aircraft from the piper cub, the entire king air series of turbo props, jets, WWII era including a TF-51, a B-25, and B-24. She is still looking for a path to fly for a living.

Along with passion and skill in the sky. Katie continued her love of the arts working as an assistant casting director on Hollywood Blvd. in 2011 & 2012. She writes to pass the time and has an incredible sense of humor.
