KARLI HOLY (singer)

Karli Holy is very jovial, humble, integrity, intelligent and determined individual (determined to succeed).

Rising up from a family of musicians such as Andrew "Joe-Culture" Sinclair, manager and keyboard player for the Black Culture Band and his off-springs was a great experience for him. Karl Anthony JR Wilson aka Karli Holy was born on the 13th day of January in Portland, Jamaica, W.I., now resides in Koblenz, Germany. He expresses himself most fully in the Reggae and Dancehall genre. This provides the channels which he used to emphasize his singing/ songwriting talent to deliver his messages of love and affections, with the combination and a mixture of positive, uplifting, clean and conscious lyrics, lifestyle and words of encouragement which will uplift your musical souls, all fitting together with his original Reggae melodic vocal styles.

Karli Holy became a lot more serious with his music career after visiting London for a short period of time. He was introduced to Ned Bigham (Ocean Bloem Productions) a well-known producer, where he recorded his first two songs entitled "Do You Want More" and "Uptown Girls". This created a gap between the Dancehall/ Techno music leading up to a special ragga mix for the song "Uptown Girls" later released on the Ultra Records on a artists compilation album entitled "Do You Want More" by a very famous Miami based Progressive House/ Techno DJ called Robbie Rivera, which gave Karli Holy a worldwide radio broadcasting mainly in the U.K. and U.S.A.

Karli Holy have recently teamed up with producers both local and international to complete his first debut EP entitled "Love Overflow" released on August 14th, 2009 in Germany. He also plans to share his live performances all around Europe including countries such as Austria, Switzerland, France, Italy and Poland, etc. Therefore, all other means of promotional activities both Physical and Digital awaits the released for his "Love Overflow" EP.

His Older brother Omar Bignal was a well-known selector on sound-systems such as Mello Construction and Soul Sonic International (only to name a few) back in the early 90s in Jamaica. This also gives Karli Holy the confidence to share his talents among his peers, performing live on local sound systems in the district where he was raised better known today as Long Road. With his historical background he then began to create his own ideas based on reality, lifestyle, naturalism and things which he sees happening around his surroundings. Momentum, Karli Holy has founded himself a lot more serious and confident with his new name and also for the deliverance of his messages for all and other future releases internationally.
