Soowon Sophie Eom

Sophie Eom is a Korea based serial entrepreneur. She is the cofounder of two AI based companies, Solidware and Adriel. Solidware is a fin-tech company that uses big data and machine learning algorithms to help financial companies give better credit scores, allowing customers for a better chance at loans. After her success with Solidware, Sophie has moved on to be the CEO of Adriel, a AI marketing tool.

Education

After graduating Seoul Science Highschool, Sophie received her bachelors in Chemistry/Business Administration from Seoul National University. She continued her education and received a Master's in Finance, in HEC Paris.[1]

Career

Sophie started her career in Oliver Wyman Financial Services in 2012. She became the assistant to the CFO of AXA Global Direct Korea from 2012 to 2014. In 2014 She co-founded Solidware Co., Ltd that disrupted the South Korean finance industry using machine learning and advanced predicative analysis. She left her founded company after its acquisition by Korea's Yellow Financial Group (now named DAYLI Financial Group)[2] and continued implementing machine learning in other fields and founded her current company Adriel, an online AI marketing tool.
