Tars syndrome (Thrombocytopenia) This rare disorder that a child could have right from berth, is extra ordinary, as it will have a large impact on a child's life. When the child is born He/She will have very interesting and unique arms. The arms will be shortened, and in some cases they may have it where their arms are curved inward. When this baby is born, he/she will have long lasting side effects from the tars syndrome. Some of these could be either heart problems, finger problems and other side effects. Another thing that comes with all of this is a very low platelet count. Any other person could have their platelet count ranging from 200-350 while people with tars syndrome a normal for them would be around 60 or a lower platelet count could also go as low as 25 platelets or even lower.
