Darryl Sittler was a very good NHL'er back into the 1970s. Born in St Jacobs near Kitchener in 1950 and played hockey there. And after he played there he played for the OHA's London teams and in 1970 the Leafs drafted him in the first round and got him before drafting his line mate Errol Thompson and in 1976 he had a 10 point-night in Boston as the goaltender's 14 game NHL career. In 1982 his time with the Leafs came to a end, as he was traded to the Flyers for a guy named Rich Costello and a pick but after that he was moved again for Murray Craven and Joe Paterson before retiring in 1985. Very good goal-scorer back in 1970s.
