User:Hyperbacon

Hyperbacon is the nickname M. R. ______s got when he was a young child, one fine summer in California. His mother was frying bacon and the boy was bouncing off the walls in excited anticipation of his favorite meal: bacon toast. Bacon toast, as it was known by a very select few, consisted of two pieces of toast (any sort really) coated with pure peanut butter (chunky if possible) and several crispy strips of bacon formed into a nice sandwich. He could hardly wait and was making lots of noise running around the kitchen, an activity strictly prohibited, especially in the morning. His "irish twin" brother was sitting quitely with his father who was attempting to read the paper but found it impossible due to the distractions of his eldest son. "H______e! You have to stop feeding that kid bacon. It makes him hyper." The father said and the quiet younger brother astutely watched and listened.

A few days later they were riding in the back of the bus on the way home from a summer camp where they had been playing sports all day. The boy was spazzing out, bouncing on the seat, talking fast and loud and being a general disturbance. A friend of the brothers, by the name of B. J__n___n, turned to the younger of the two and said, "Dang, L___! Why is your brother so hyper?"

"My dad says its all the bacon he eats." Replied the younger brother in ernest.

"HA HA HA!" Laughed B.J. and aroused the few children left on the bus in a mocking chorus, the way only children know how, of "Hyperbacon! HA HA HA!"

And there you have it. That was summer 1985.
