Hi, I'm Jason. I've edited Wikipedia on and off since March 2008. Off-wiki, I'm a historian and the Senior Developer-Scholar at the Roy Rosenzweig Center for History and New Media at George Mason University, with a Ph.D. in history from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. My research is on the nineteenth- and twentieth-century North American West and on digital history as a way of practicing the craft.

I support the free content / open knowledge movement and contribute to several Wikimedia projects.
