Gregor Euan Duncan Sharp (Born 1 February 2004^[1]) is a British - American Climate Activist. He is a British-American who identifies as an Atheist and Immigrant^[2]. Gregor is known for his diplomatic speaking skills, both in public and to authoritative figures, in which he urges and helps action be taken in what he acknowledges as a climate crisis^[3].

Gregor first entered into the youth climate movement in August of 2019, when, at age 15, co-founded the youth climate action group We Act Now along with its many other founders. Which progressed on working with government officials to progress towards climate action. Currently, he serves as one of the founders and Co-Executive directors in We Act Now.

Gregor Sharp was born on February 1st 2004 in Fort Trevor, California. Due to his father being based there by the Royal Air Force. After his father's duties were over, he moved back with his parents to Nap Hill, Buckinghamshire. In the United Kingdom. He was raised there for 5 years before moving to Stokenchurch until 2015. In 2015, Gregor emigrated from the United Kingdom to the United States due to his mom being instated at AbbVie. Gregor now resides in Lake Bluff, Illinois. Where he now attends Lake Forest High School.

Gregor first heard about climate change in his fourth year at Stokenchurch Primary School, where he realized that the world he lived in was not particularly the best one. The situation from this caused Gregor to challenge the thoughts of his peers and eventually become the person he is today.

Just after high started high school, Gregor started ramping up his efforts to put a plug on Climate Change. With the beginnings of what he wanted to do, he joined Illinois Youth Climate Strike as a school ambassador and started broadcasting to his school about upcoming climate strikes taking place around the Chicago area. He also started challenging his parents to start producing less waste by getting a compost bin, reducing their car emissions and using more re-usable items. Gregor credits his parents and the climate community for giving him the belief that he could create a movement that could make the world a better place.

Gregor Sharp co-founded We Act Now organization in 2019. This group of activists is concerned about the lack of action being done by the governments on a local and international scale in terms on climate change. With the mission statement expressing their beliefs “To make life as good as possible, for as many as possible, as much as humanity possibly can.” We Act Now is a non-profit international organization whose goal is to work with government officials to make progress towards climate action and to pass laws that help benefit the environment. Currently they are working on their goal to begin their first projects on the County level in the United States.
