Life when it's juicy. Music when it's ripe.

FruitFlyLife is a media outlet that highlights characters and creations within popular culture that stray from the established norm. FruitFlyLife remains stalwart in its belief that the arms of popular culture reach everyone, and that we create a space where every topic - arts related or otherwise - is meaningful to all who dare to have a fully sensory and fearlessly authentic presence.

FruitFlyLife's founder and editor is Courtney Nichols. Originally from Monterey, CA, Courtney is now a Los Angeles resident. Her work has appeared in Page Six Magazine, Out.com, Popnography, and Herald de Paris. Most recently she was the VP of New Music & Culture of MOX TV. Courtney Nichols once won a costume contest at a midnight screening of Hedwig and the Angry Inch hosted by director John Cameron Mitchell. She was not in costume.
