August 2022
- SwissDisk: nominated at AfD; notified SamJohnston (talk · contribs) 16:10, 8 August 2022 (UTC)
- Reason: Fails WP:NCORP as it has not received significant coverage in multiple reliable secondary independent sources. The company has only received coverage in reliable independent sources as a result of an event in 2009 (see the three refs currently in the article) and the coverage about the company itself is hardly significant ([1] and [2] are passing mentions, and [3] only contains a few sentences with some basic background info on the company). Google Books and Google Scholar searches also only return passing mentions afaics.
October 2024
- Category:Recipients of orders, decorations, and medals by Germany: nominated at CfDS (C2C); New name: Category:Recipients of orders, decorations, and medals of Germany 16:12, 27 October 2024 (UTC)
- Reason: See parent category Category:Recipients of orders, decorations, and medals by awarding country .
- Category:National Heroes of Saint Kitts and Nevis: nominated at CfD (CfM); merging to Category:Recipients of the Order of the National Hero (Saint Kitts and Nevis); notified Ser Amantio di Nicolao (talk · contribs) 11:50, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
- Reason: Redundant category. Both categories are about the recipients of this high state honour: Order of the National Hero (Saint Kitts and Nevis) (article title is stable afacs). The official name of the order is "Order of National Hero" (see National Honours Act that established it), so the article title is probably the correct choice and the proposed target the category to keep. Since the recipients seem to often be referred to as "National Heroes" (see Heroes' Day#Saint Kitts and Nevis or the goverment's website, and the linked law includes the statement "... Bradshaw shall be entered into the records as the first National Hero."), I propose merging and leaving a redirect, but maybe there's an argument for deleting Category:National Heroes of Saint Kitts and Nevis or both (although I would say the usual arguments against National Hero categories, WP:OCAWARD or WP:SHAREDNAME, don't apply here).
- Category:Awarded with the Bachelor's Degree Extraordinary Award: nominated at CfD (CfD); notified Loulex (talk · contribs) 20:43, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
- Reason: WP:OCAWARD: Almost all notable recipients are politicians and receiving this award for academic achievement during their undergraduate studies is certainly not a definining charateristic for them (for approx. 50% of them, the award is not even mentioned in their article).
- Category:Camp Rising Sun alumni: nominated at CfD (CfD); notified Marrante (talk · contribs) 21:04, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
- Reason: WP:NONDEF: Attending this summer camp when they were 14-16 years old is not a defining characteristic for any of the members in this category.
- Category:Adi Lautman Interdisciplinary Program for Outstanding Students alumni: nominated at CfD (CfD); notified Mazaricuu (talk · contribs) 21:51, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
- Reason: WP:NONDEF: The notable alumni of this program can be divided into two broad groups of roughly equal size, artists/creatives (mainly writers) and academics, and I don't think there are many (if any) in either group for whom the argument could be made that being part of this program is a defining characteristic.
- Category:Manikya Dynasty: nominated at CfDS (C2D); New name: Category:Manikya dynasty 22:49, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
- Reason: See Manikya dynasty (just a capitalization error, so C2A would also apply).
- Category:Artists represented by Shannon Associates: nominated at CfD (CfD); notified TreesAreHip (talk · contribs) 19:01, 29 October 2024 (UTC)
- Reason: WP:NOTDEF: The talent agency by whom an artist is represented/managed is not defining charateristic (the talent agency doesn't have an article either).
- Category:People of the Muscovy Company: nominated at CfDS (C2C); New name: Category:Muscovy Company people 19:56, 29 October 2024 (UTC)
- Reason: See parent category Category:People by company in the United Kingdom.
- Category:People of Rio Tinto (corporation): nominated at CfDS (C2C); New name: Category:Rio Tinto (corporation) people 19:57, 29 October 2024 (UTC)
- Reason: See parent category Category:People by company in the United Kingdom.
- Category:People of Bell Canada: nominated at CfDS (C2C); New name: Category:Bell Canada people 20:00, 29 October 2024 (UTC)
- Reason: See parent category Category:People in technology by company (and Category:People by company in Canada for other instances where the company name ends in "Canada").
- Category:John Steinbeck Award recipients: nominated at CfD (CfD); notified SammySpartan (talk · contribs) 21:04, 29 October 2024 (UTC)
- Reason: WP:OCAWARD: Seems like a relatively niche award and receiving it is not a defining characteristic for the vast majority (if not all) of the recipients (the award is not even mentioned in the article for most of them).
November 2024
- Category:Supermarkets of San Marino: nominated at CfD (CfM); merging to Category:Lists of supermarket chains by country; notified Ottawahitech (talk · contribs) 20:37, 13 November 2024 (UTC)
- Reason: Contains only list article (already in target category), not useful for navigation.
- Category:Supermarkets of Slovakia: nominated at CfD (CfM); merging to Category:Lists of supermarket chains by country; notified BrownHairedGirl (talk · contribs) 20:43, 13 November 2024 (UTC)
- Reason: Contains only list article (already in target category), not useful for navigation.
- Category:2021 FIFA Futsal World Cup venues: nominated at CfD (CfM); merging to Category:Futsal venues; notified Paninigenie (talk · contribs) 11:25, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Reason: Per WP:OCVENUE.
- Category:2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup venues: nominated at CfD (CfM); merging to Category:Football venues in India; notified Thedon1 (talk · contribs) 11:35, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Reason: Per WP:OCVENUE. (Side note: Merging would empty Category:FIFA U-17 World Cup stadiums, which only contains the discussed cat.)
- Category:FA Cup final venues: nominated at CfD (CfD); notified Cjc13 (talk · contribs) 12:08, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Reason: Per WP:OCVENUE. (All articles within are sufficiently categorized otherwise.)
- Category:Venues of the Bundesvision Song Contest: nominated at CfD (CfD); notified Horst-schlaemma (talk · contribs) 12:46, 18 November 2024 (UTC)
- Reason: Per WP:OCVENUE (also see Bundesvision Song Contest for background/nature of the specific competition/event). (All articles in the cat are sufficiently categorized otherwise.)
December 2024
- Olugbenro Oyekan: nominated at AfD; notified Ghostiwe (talk · contribs) 16:21, 24 December 2024 (UTC)
- Reason: Non-notable individual, fails WP:GNG/WP:NBIO (no significant coverage in multiple secondary, independent, reliable sources afaics).
As for WP:NPROF, I think the only criterion that could potentially apply is criterion 6 (The person has held a highest-level elected or appointed administrative post at a major academic institution or major academic society.
), which (according to the notes for this criterion) may applyif the person has held the post of president or chancellor (or vice-chancellor in countries where this is the top academic post) of a significant accredited college or university
, but[l]esser administrative posts (provost, dean, department chair, etc.) are generally not sufficient to qualify under Criterion 6 alone
(the same goes for anappointment as an acting president/chancellor/vice-chancellor
). As stated in the article, the subject does seem to be the vice president of (and dean at) the International School of Management (ISM) Lagos (no Wikipedia article; official website), an accredited private business school. However, given that a brochure by and for the school ([4]) lists a president, I'm concluding that vice president is indeed not the top post, which is why I don't believe this criterion is satified, and thus I would argue that the subject fails WP:NPROF as well.
- Reason: Non-notable individual, fails WP:GNG/WP:NBIO (no significant coverage in multiple secondary, independent, reliable sources afaics).

- Some more non-governmental organizations categories: nominated at CfD (CfR/CfM/CfD); notified QuasiPerlach (talk · contribs), Rockfang (talk · contribs), SJK (talk · contribs), Supreme Deliciousness (talk · contribs), Takabeg (talk · contribs) 21:07, 4 January 2025 (UTC)
- Category:Anti-corruption non-governmental organizations, renaming to Category:Anti-corruption organizations
- Category:International nongovernmental youth organizations, renaming to Category:International youth organizations
- Category:Non-governmental organizations involved in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict, renaming to Category:Organizations involved in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict
- Category:Non-governmental organizations involved in the Israeli–Palestinian peace process, renaming to Category:Organizations involved in the Israeli–Palestinian peace process
- Category:Non-governmental organizations involved in the Turkish War of Independence, renaming to Category:Organizations of the Turkish War of Independence
- Category:World War II non-governmental organizations, renaming to Category:Organizations of World War II
- Category:Defunct international non-governmental organizations, merging to Category:Former international organizations
- Category:International nongovernmental organizations, merging to Category:International non-profit organizations
- Category:Non-governmental organizations involved in the Israeli–Syrian conflict
- Reason: Following up from Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2024 December 24#Category:Non-governmental organizations (and previous discussions from 2016: 1, 2), however, for the nominated categories, purging individual organizations would leave either none or 1-2 articles. Therefore, I largely propose renaming/merging to general organizations categories (similar to the linked 2016 CfDs), with the merge of Category:International nongovernmental organizations to Category:International non-profit organizations intended as a manual, selective merge.
Regarding Category:Non-governmental organizations involved in the Israeli–Syrian conflict, I'm leaning towards deletion as I don't think the category (even as Category:Organizations involved in the Israeli–Syrian conflict) is very useful for navigation (there is no article or category for Israeli–Syrian conflict, and it currently only contains one article, which is also already in the parent cat Category:Golan Heights), but I wouldn't be opposed to renaming it either if that's what the majority wants.
- Category:Battles of World War II involving the Soviet Union: nominated at CfDS (C2C); New name: Category:Battles and operations of World War II involving the Soviet Union 14:27, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: See parent Category:Battles and operations of World War II by country; cat also clearly contains articles and subcats about both battles and operations.
- Category:Battles of Yugoslavia during World War II: nominated at CfDS (C2C); New name: Category:Battles and operations of World War II involving Yugoslavia 14:30, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: See parent Category:Battles and operations of World War II by country.
- Category:Military operations involving the Polish resistance during World War II: nominated at CfDS (C2C); New name: Category:Military operations of World War II involving the Polish resistance 14:43, 15 January 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: See parent Category:Military operations of World War II by country (and also general naming scheme "Military operations of war involving country", e.g., in Category:Military operations of World War I by country or Category:Military operations of the Iraq War by country).
- Category:Lists of ballet casts: nominated at CfD (CfM); merging to Category:Ballet-related lists; notified Robertgreer (talk · contribs) 02:01, 16 January 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: Contains only one page, a redirect, so it doesn't seem very useful for navigation. I also don't see any other articles that could be added to populate the category (seems like a very rare type of article/list).

- Category:Indian people by state or union territory by occupation: nominated at CfDS (C2C); New name: Category:Indian people by state or union territory and occupation 22:22, 26 March 2025 (UTC)

- Category:Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra chief conductors: nominated at CfDS (C2C); New name: Category:Chief conductors of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra 12:56, 18 July 2025 (UTC)

- Category:Portland Youth Philharmonic conductors: nominated at CfDS (C2C); New name: Category:Conductors of the Portland Youth Philharmonic 12:59, 18 July 2025 (UTC)

- Category:London Symphony Orchestra principal conductors: nominated at CfDS (C2C); New name: Category:Principal conductors of the London Symphony Orchestra 13:01, 18 July 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: See parent category Category:Conductors by British orchestra (and/or that cat's parent Category:Conductors by orchestra).
- Category:Conductors of the Hollywood Studio Symphony: nominated at CfD (CfD); notified PeterLGreen1996 (talk · contribs) 14:49, 18 July 2025 (UTC)
- Reason: WP:NONDEF. Due to the nature of the Hollywood Studio Symphony (not a conventional symphony orchestra; only records soundtracks; musicians are contracted for each soundtrack individually, so no fixed members), it doesn't have a (permanent) principal/chief conductor or music director, which differentiates the orchestra from other ones for which there are similar cats (see Category:Conductors by orchestra). For most soundtracks performed by this orchestra, the conductor is also its composer, which makes sense, but this also means that almost all people in the cat are primarily composers, and while being a conductor may still be a defining characteristic for most of them, being a conductor of this orchestra is not. Case in point, the orchestra is only mentioned in two of the 28 articles currently in the cat (Anthony Parnther, where the statement is unsourced, and James Shearman, where the mention is sourced via a credit).
