    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG/WP:NBIO (and might even meet WP:A7 but I'm not certain about that). While the article is largely neutral in tone, the cited sources are without exception sponsored content (they all follow the same format, the websites look basically the same, and all contain the disclaimer "This article features branded content from a third party."; also quite apparent from their content) and therefore not independent. A search for independent sources with significant coverage has not returned any (only entries/profiles in various company/realtor directories and more non-independent sources, such as this press release).
    • Note: Also CSD-tagged it with A7, which resulted in the deletion of the page shortly after. Felida97 (talk) 18:05, 24 December 2024 (UTC)
  2. Mara (supermarket): PROD; notified Dan69en (talk · contribs) 23:11, 13 November 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: This article probably meets A7, but on the off-chance that someone see the possibility of significance in the one sentence/claim, this company definitely fails WP:GNG/WP:NCOMP (note: from what I can tell, this "chain" did indeed only ever have two stores).
    • Note: Also CSD-tagged it with A7, which resulted in the deletion of the page shortly after. Felida97 (talk) 18:05, 24 December 2024 (UTC)

December 2024

  1. Sanjay Sehgal: PROD; notified LISA GARAD (talk · contribs) 19:46, 16 December 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: Clearly fails WP:GNG/WP:NBIO. Quick run-down of the five existing refs: Ref 1 is openly sponsored content, ref 2 is a Q&A/interview with the subject, ref 3 is a post by the subject, ref 4 is is a Q&A/interview with the subject (accompanied by a short bio/introduction), and ref 5 is a press release, presumably by the subject or one of their companies (although it's not transparently indicated that it's a PR on the website, the text, which can be found on a few other "news" websites, follows a PR template for this kind of "news", see, e.g., basically the same release for another person and another one). All other sources I see are also either primary (interviews etc.) or non-independent. The subject seems to have received some awards/honors but none of them are notable afaics (like the kind of award/honor mentioned in ref 2).
    • Note: Was dePRODed and appropriately turned into / brought to AfD by CycloneYoris (talk · contribs) (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sanjay Sehgal; result: delete), because I had forgotten that even if a previous PROD resulted in the deletion of a page, the page cannot be PRODed again. 2. Desmond Amiegbebhor: PROD; notified Ghostiwe (talk · contribs) 15:18, 24 December 2024 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:GNG/WP:NBIO (no significant coverage in secondary sources). All currently cited references contain only passing mentions (mentioning the subject's name and position) or are works by the subject, and a search for other sources/coverage counting towards notability has not returned any. Also doesn't meet any of the criteria listed at WP:NACADEMICS.
    • Note: Was dePRODed by an IP (105.112.112.190 (talk · contribs · IP contribs · WHOIS)) shortly after (see diff) and then tagged for CSD (A7, G11) by DoctorWhoFan91 (talk · contribs) shortly after that (see diff), which resulted in the page's deletion. April 2025

  1. Sins of a Divine Mother: PROD; notified Puddle of Pizza (talk · contribs) 15:33, 26 April 2025 (UTC)
    • Reason: Fails WP:NMUSIC and WP:GNG (and probably even meets WP:A7). Obscure band that has barely released any music and whose only potential claim of significance seems to be that one of their songs was almost part of a videogame soundtrack. Among the current sources, the only secondary ones are the two very short posts on Blabbermouth.net (which also contain basically the same information), and a search for other sources/coverage counting towards notability has not returned any (ProQuest, Gale OneFile, and Newspapers.com show nothing; the Google Books results are all false positives; and the normal Google results are Reddit/forum posts, Fandoms, or databases; I don't see any non-user reviews for their recent (re-)releases either).
