Edwin Quiles (September 29, 1971) is an American military Signal Officer, whose military career extended from 1991 until present.

After graduating from the High School of Art and Design located in New York, NY in 1989, Captain Edwin Quiles enlisted in the military at the age of 19. He entered the military in March 1991 as a Signal soldier. He attended the signal school located in Fort Gordon, Georgia. After years of being a member of the United States Army, He rose through the enlisted ranks until he was commissioned in November 2005. Captain Quiles, immediately started to make his impression on the commission side of the military by accepting any assignments that were challenging and excelling at the assignments. CPT Quiles had numerous deployments in various locations like Kosovo, Sarejevo, Macedonia, Kuwait, and Afghanistan. During his deployment to Afghanistan, CPT Quiles was awarded the Bronze Star Medal.

CPT Quiles has obtained an undergraduate degree in Information Technology and a Masters Degree in Education during his time in the military. Captain Quiles obtained his commission as a Signal Officer.

Captain Quiles’ career assignments include: Antenna Installation and Repair, 1111th Signal Company, Fort Ritchie, Maryland, 44th Signal Battalion, Line Installer, Operations NCO, 69th Cable Company, Fort Huachuca, Arizona, Equipment Installation Supervisor, 5th Signal Command, Mannheim Germany, Special Projects Officer / Deputy G6, 7th Army Reserve Command, Schwetzingen, Germany, Operations Officer, HQ, V Corps, Heidelberg, Germany, Executive Officer, 72d ESB, Mannheim, Germany, Telecom Officer, HHC, 7th TTSB, Company Commander, HHC, 7th Signal Brigade (TTSB)), Mannheim, Germany and Bagram, Afghanistan, Communications Officer, 31st Combat Support Hospital.

His awards and decorations include the Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal (3 OLC), Army Commendation Medal (3OLC), Army Achievement Medal (4 OLC), Overseas Service Ribbon (5 OLC), National Defense Service Medal (OLC), Afghanistan Campaign Medal, GWOT Expeditionary Medal, GWOT Service Medal, Outstanding Volunteer Ribbon, Non-Commissioned Officer Education Ribbon (Numeral 2), NATO Medal, German Armed Forces Military Badge in Silver, a recipient of the Signal Corps Regimental Association Order of Mercury (Bronze).
