Matthew Cardoso Heringer (born in March 17, 2001) is a Brazilian-American writer, director and actor.

His career began in late 2016, when he wrote, directed and acted in a short film named "Leben Strasse", wich was an art homework writed in 3 days, recorded in a single day and edited in 3 days, with total time spend of only 7 days. He would be involved in some trouble with his classmates (one of them being his future girlfriend Lara Amante) and would be away from filmaking until June, 2017, when he recived a proposal from his teatcher for creating a short film to the secretary of education, representing the school in a state contest for best student independent short film. At ground zero of the project, Heringer was not the general director, but his teatcher made an appeal to him to take care of everything himself because of his former director's delays in production. So he did. He wrote, produced, diirected, acted and edicted the short film. Thanks to some of his classmates - specially Lara Amante, Petro Araújo,and Paulo Henrique Vieira - and his teatchers Weligton Fabricante and Edy Pereira, he managed to assemble a team in 7 days of recording, 2 of editing and one month of writing.Then, in August 15, 2017, he released his second short film "Fade Out".
