Terry Castro (born on Jan. 26, 1972 in Toledo, Ohio) is an upcoming jewelry designer. He would identify his work as being in the Prehistoric era. Designs consist of leather, silver, diamonds which turn into cuffs, rings, amulets, bracelets and other amazing jewelry pieces.

The youngest of 2 sons, Castro who considers himself black, and who is said not to like being called African-American. Is also part Mexican and Native American. He grew up in Toledo Ohio with his parents who were a mix couple. His mother black and his step-father a white jew and 2 religious back rounds. One jewish (his step-father) and the other from his mothers side, Christianity. he would later say that these two religions , especially Judaism help shape and mold his life and collections. Castro attended Scott High School and faced multiple problems growing up due to his bi-racial background. He encountered some legal troubles in his youth and as a young adult with the law. In 1999 he he married and they had a son. while in college at the University of Toledo he attended Drouhard National Jewelers School in Columbus, Ohio to learn jewelry repair. That same year he and his wife opened their first jewelry store in Toledo, Ohio named C & C jewelers.

In 1999, Castro opened his own jewelry store, C &C Jewelers in Toledo, Ohio. Unfortunately a year after opening the store, it was closed and in 2000 Castro decided to get involved in the clothing industry. Castro was addicted to the night life and started to going clubbing in Detroit, MI. since he didnt have a lot of money he would rework clothing he got from the mall and Goodwill and Salvation army and create unique one of a kind clothing. soon people at the clubs were asking for the designs. while shopping at an Ikea in suburban Chicago. he was discovered by a lady who co-owned with the famous underground architech Obi Nwazota of the famed OrangeSkin store a clothing store in Chicago's Wicker park neighborhood called In 1994, Castro went to Chicago, IL. where he was fortunate enough to meet designer Robin Richman whom inspired him to change his style. Castro became fascinated with skulls, dead people, high quality items & "dark" images which were all responsible for changing his outlook about fashion. He worked on a shirt line which he then passed over to Robin.

Castro then went to New York City and was working as a street vendor selling a man's jewelry until he decided to start his own line in 2006. In 2008, Castro went to Paris and got discovered by Nobuhiko Sato, the president of a Japanese corporation called Maniac corporation. Designers of the funky exclusive brands , "IF SIX WAS NINE" and "LGB".
