BurgRes is the user name for John A. Burgener, developer of the parallel path nebulizers and enhanced parallel path nebulizers. My company, Burgener Research Inc. manufactures the nebulizers. They can be bought from almost all laboratory suppliers and instrument manufacturers. While I believe that ours are the world's best design, many other designs are in use and more glass concentrics are sold than ours. As analytical nebulizers are critical to users of spectrometers, I feel it is important to provide some history and details about their design, and that as many designs as possible should be described so that people may understand the advantages of each.
