Hi!

So, I made a new account with my own name to make things easier for everyone but I could not find the course link through that account.

3-5 Topics for Research:

  • Quintessence
  • Tetrabiblos
  • Almagest
  • Sidereus Nuncius -- Bill Nye OU (talk) 04:03, 14 September 2013 (UTC)
Hi. You can turn your list of suggestions into links by putting each article title in double brackets "[[]]". Quintessence is being used on Wikipedia to refer to the more modern dark energy theory. If you're interested in working on that subject from ancient times, refer to the article Aether (classical element). The Tetrabiblos page looks very well done, so I'd caution you about making too large of changes there. The Almagest page is less developed, but still has good information. If you work on either of those, I'd suggest adding information rather than thinking about a full rewrite. The Sidereus Nuncius page was rewritten by one of my AstroJodi last semester. It's quite good, but if you can think of something you want to add, you're free to work on it. She watches it pretty closely, so you'll need to make sure your edits are accurate.
I noticed that all of your suggestions are on topics we've already discussed in class. I just wanted to point out that you're free to think about subjects that we haven't discussed in class, but are still related to our subject material. Kirwanfan (talk) 18:44, 18 September 2013 (UTC)
