Introduction My name is Benjamin Joseph Miller. I was born in Thornhill, Ontario, Canada and currently study at the University of Ottawa. I'm a student of philosophy and political science, an advocate for Yiddish language and culture and a great lover of learning something from everyone I meet. My favourite way to learn is by being asked to teach someone something. I was raised by an editor--and while I'm not perfect--I can't help but care about having at least decent grammar. To unwind, I play chess and watch terrible films (sometimes on purpose... sometimes not). On the side, I read a whole lot of public policy, some philosophy and, if I'm ever reading fiction, it's by Kafka.

Activities I host a community radio show on www.chuo.fm called Happenstance and Occurrences where I get to learn about all kinds of Canadian policy, most of which you never hear about, and share it with the world.

I enjoy tutoring both philosophy and political science classes and teaching non-subject specific skills like good reasoning and time management. Like Wikipedia I believe knowledge should be free, so if you ever want help learning something, I'd love to learn it with you (if I have the time).

Research Interests My research interests are in social contract theory, ethics of care, legal theory, and much more!

Desired contribution to Wikipedia For now at least, I'd just like to contribute to this wonderful project through minor edits and maybe just learn a whole lot along the way.
