Ben Birdseye was born on August 15, 1991. He is an American Musician born in Duluth Minnesota. He graduated at Harbor City International School (HCIS) in the spring of 2009. In the fall of 2009 he attended the University of Wisconsin Superior (UWS). He left UWS to do youth ministry through a program located in Minneapolis Minnesota in the summer of 2011. His plans fell through there so he went back to UWS January 2012. Ben Birdseye currently resides on campus at the University of Wisconsin Superior. Ben Birdseye started playing drums at the age of 3 he soon there after dropped out of drum lessons. He was not able to focus on music at that age. Later he picked up Violin and mastered the Suzuki method, later dropping out of violin because the middle school he attended did not offer orchestra he picked up drums again. Ben Birdseye has been playing drums since then. He started by playing his grandmothers polka band drum set. Later his mother invested in a drum set which his sister used. He later started playing that kit and started investing in parts and hardware for it. When Ben Birdseye was in high school he started building on the drum set. He got his first set of cymbals for his birthday in the summer of his sophomore year of high school. At this point in his life he realized that he wanted to make drumming his career choice. Ben Birdseye released 4 albums in his high school career with numerous garage bands. Ben Birdseye's influences span from anywhere from classical music all the way to some of the pop genres of today. Ben Birdseye's favorite band is Guns N' Roses. In 2007 Ben Birdseye got a chuck berry red Sg guitar. He started learning guitar in 2009 and wrote one song that he put on an album in the spring of 2009. When Ben Birdseye went to college he started playing more guitar. At this moment in time Ben Birdseye is floating between guitar and drums. His guitar career is based off of phrase looping. Ben Birdseye owns a loop station which allows him to play a phrase and loop it live without using other musicians to play unneeded parts. Ben's Percussion Career is moving forward with the band Suburban Jesus which consisted of all of the musicians of the YellowJacket Activities Crew House Band with 1 added musician that was not part of the House Band. Suburban Jesus plays 90's alternative and grunge style music while also coving a wide variety of Green Day covers hence the name. Ben Birdseye has written over 50 songs and recorded over 25 of them. Ben Birdseye has live sound training that allows him the ability to record constantly. When Ben Birdseye is not doing school work, playing music, or recording he is chillaxing in his dorm room with a ginger beer in hand and a guitar in the other. Music never ends for him.
