EARLY LIFE

Basani Dimas hails from Sayonti community of Mayo Lope ward Lau Local Government Taraba State Nigeria. He is a native of Yandang. His people are dominant in Lau Local Government Taraba State Nigeria and Adamawa state respectively. His parent were Rev Dimas Dauda Sayonti and Mama mariya of both same native of Yandang. 

EDUCATIONAL CAREERS

He Attended Sayonti Primary school, Garba Chede 1 Special Primary School in Bali Local Government Taraba State and thereafter graduated in 2004. He further graduated his Secondary school at Government Day Secondary School Sunkani in Ardo Kola Local Government Taraba State in 2010. After felt he was called into Pastoral Ministry, He went further to Attend Kakulu Theological Seminary Zing where in obtained Diploma in Christian Education and Ministry 2015. He further went to West Africa Theological Seminary Lagos where he obtained his Bachelor Degree in Pastoral Ministry and Counseling in the year 2020

MINISTERIAL EXPERIENCE

It is obvious that Rev Basani Dimas grew from a decent Christian family where his father was a pastor with the United Methodist Church in Nigeria for over five decades. Basani Dimas now Pastor in same united Methodist church where his father pastored. He currently serve at UMC Uyo in Akwa Ibom state Nigeria. He was ordained by Bishop Edwin Jarumai of Praise Chapel Abuja on 7 December 2020 at the United Methodist Church cathedral Zing, zing local government of Taraba State.

HOBBIES

Basani Dimas loves music of all kinds especially Classical music. He as well love games and other related events. His greatest hobby is reading good Christian books, motivationals and theological books as well.
