Hornet Airlines Inc. is a U.S. based low-cost airline that is in the planning stages. Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport is Hornet Airlines principal base of operations. Hornet Airlines frequent flyer program is known as flyPass.
As of November 20, 2008, Hornet Airlines is looking for investors. They have most of the plans finished. They want to fly with a small select aircraft families to cut the operation cost down. For the main aircraft in their regional fleet, They want to use the Dash 8 Q-Series aircraft. For the main aircraft in the main-line fleet, They are looking at either the A320 family or the Boeing 737 family.
