Hello I am one of the proud volunteer librarians at the British museum. Today quote of the day is art is artitchecture that we live inside of art is everywhere. One Monday afternoon me and my carer were at the British museum volunteering and we did light research on the lion hunt freezes . We first had the idea to do the lion hunt freezes for the blog to become part of the book 2 because it’s better to live two days like a lion than a hundred years as a sheep.

I have had deep admiration for Ashurbanipals the king of Assyria the king of the world. He loved his sward and pen stylus for writing ✍️ . He lived in the city of Niveh in around 631 bc where he lived in his palace which was called a palace without rival which definitely reflected the ego of the ruler. I have been doing research on the King of kings and I really liked his clay tablets library in the Iraq gallery on the second floor worth a visit. I think that the king of kings was more than meats the eye and I really liked the image of him carrying around his stylus and sward at the same time the pen is mightier than the sward .

Austen Henry lanyards 1850s discovered the palace without equal in Assyria and I would have loved to have visited the Royal gardens back in the day ancient writers mistook the gardens for the hanging gardens of Babylon and the royal gardens stretched on for miles it’s where the king who was also a self taught librarian spent most of his time in those splendid gardens and its where he apperently died burning himself and his conquebines before the other raiding parties could get to him and his library which was buried beneath his palace and lost for a long time .

I think that when I am humble volunteer librarian volunteer that the lion hunting sport would have been awsome to watch and to participate in as we develop into the modern area we become soft and this will make us become strong again like lions we shall remain I shall be the first one in for the kill that’s for certain and the last one out said the librarian . I think as a hunter myself to do it in the wild and to do it cleanly it has its own type of mercy quickly and quietly and gently is how to slay a lion .  The lions and lion hunting were seen with deep respect and as a royal sport as well only the kings can hunt the lions part of the royal sport.  The reliefs were found in the palace without rivals and they were there as the military always say as there shock and awe tactics for the population to see and admire at special ceremonies.

If I had my own reliefs and freezes as part of my summer palace I would have them of me hunting down politicians just for laughs. I do not like that many politicians as they never looked after people with Aspergers that well so I would then take the hunt with them and have ak forty sevens and have the hunt in my own personal garden with photographs and a magazine article written all about how none of the politicians survived and how i kept there heads on my front door step as a warning for other enemies.

My favourite reliefs at the British Museum is a very special one it’s a stand alone one where it had two guards eternally stabbing each other over and over for a eternity it always moves me every time I see it they will bleed even after I am long gone .  I am obsessed with the lions that are being released from the cage if you look closely you can see palm trees and those had always made me content and think of summer.

The king was always obsessed with hunting lions as it was a royal sport his dad did it his grandfather did it and his ancestors did it was legacy. I have great respect for the hunters in modern life we just do not have that type of danger any more and as a hunter myself I have shot over four dear at the age of 18 it takes a hunter to know a hunter. I loved hunting as a young human it’s part of are blood to hunt we do it subconsciously all the time in the modern world just with out realising it . Instead of lions we hunt for clothes and for food it’s part of are survival as a human nature to outlive any other dangerous challenge no matter in what shape of form. Instead essence we are all hunting still now just to outlive the next chapter.
