George Mason (born 16 May 1997),[1] known online as GeorgeMasonTV, is a British YouTuber and comedian known for his catfishing videos and creating online rumours. Mason gained publicity after impersonating popular singer Harry Styles on TikTok under the alias suemonella, attracting worldwide attention to the account.[2]

Career

2014–2018: Beginnings

Mason created his YouTube account in 2014.

2019–present: Pranks, social experiments and rumors

In 2019, the channel shifted to prank-related content and challenges.

In 2022, Mason created the suemonella account on TikTok with the goal of impersonating Harry Styles. The account mimicked Styles' old Vine shorts and showcased the Spotify Billion Streams Plaque for Watermelon Sugar, which Mason bought that same year.[3] It posted from 11 February to 24 February. The final videos featured the Spotify Plaque and a stack of paper with the text 'HS3 ANNOUNCEMENT VIDEO'.[4][5][6]
