Anthony Cupo was born and raised in the shadow of New York city’s towering skyscrapers in Jersey City, NJ. To escape the idea of going to school he instead would sneak off the local theatre to watch whatever blockbuster was being shown. All those repeated screenings of Raiders of the Lost Ark and Blade Runner had a everlasting effect on him. He knew the course of his life was set. He would become the world’s greatest actor! OK well that didn’t happen (Yet!) but he did study and learn the craft of filmmaking, storytelling using moving pictures and audio.

Anthony has been producing projects in the NYC area for over twelve years. He discovered the difference between a great project and one that truly leaves a mark is working with professionals that really know how to communicate ideas and have the passion to see that idea carried to its completion. Some recent projects range from live action commercials and music videos to creating showcase event experiences using the latest interactive technology. He has worked some top agencies including Momentum, Corner Stone and MK. He also had the pleasure of working with such clients as, CBS, NBC, and a host of channels that reside at VIACOM like MTV and SPIKE.

In 2006 he partnered with friend and colleague R. Jamie Manalio, to open a new facility in downtown Manhattan. The Rust Company, a home for creative services specializing in dynamic production, robust sound execution and the use of the latest cutting edge technology. Complete with edit rooms, graphic bullpens, and it’s very own 5:1 surround audio suite. He wanted to make a one stop shop to assist clients in their effort to create a superior product that also made good economic sense.
