User:0lhe

I'm Oliver Herold, aka olhe or 0lhe, married. I studied archaeology and history (European prehistory, classics and history of art) -- after a more technological career, doing some admin work once in a while or writing some articles. I'm usually very vocal in terms of civil rights, open source and of course all things history, especially culture in general. I was an active member of DesktopBSD, build up together with some friends a freeware/open source-portal for Windows users, Essential Freebies, and I'm an avid UNIX-user since the early nineties and a proud geek since the 80s. Furthermore I'm an active member of the Green Party of Germany and I'm supporting the Chaos Computer Club.

I did some more or less anonymous work in the past for Wikipedia, but mostly editing or adding some passages to different articles (open source, UNIX, history etc.).
