Template:Wikisource author-inline
Works by or about Template:Wikisource author-inline at Wikisource
| This template uses Lua: |
This template when used on an author's page will utilise interwiki links stored at Wikidata to create the link and the label to the author page at English Wikisource
Usage
For adding inline to "External links" listing.
Standard usage
In most cases it will be used without parameters At William Shakespeare
{{Wikisource author-inline}}
produces:
Works by or about William Shakespeare at Wikisource
With "list" parameter
The template can also be used to produce a list of works by a particular author:
{{Wikisource author-inline|list=
* ''[[s:All's Well That Ends Well|]]'' – 1598
* ''[[s:As You Like It|]]'' – 1598
}}
produces:
Works by or about William Shakespeare on Wikisource:
- All's Well That Ends Well – 1598
- As You Like It – 1598
Overriding parameters
To note that parameters can still be utilised to override the presentation, though this would not be the preferred means as when a page is moved here or at Wikisource the link would be broken. An example of such usage would be adding an author link on an article that is a list of works of the author.
{{wikisource author-inline|wslink=Alice Bertha Gomme|title=Alice Gomme}}
produces:
Works by or about Alice Gomme at Wikisource
"list" parameter can be applied with override parameters though that would be an unusual usage.
