Talk:MSN Mobile
I have marked this article with the advert tag; it would much benefit from a rewrite, since it is written mostly in advert form and not necessarily informative or NPOV. Skyld 11:53, 26 March 2007 (UTC)
Has MSN Mobile really been renamed "Windows Live Mobile"? Because looking at the current MSN Mobile site there is no mention or indication that such a change either has, or will happen in the near future. CaseyIsDShiz 14:34, 27 February, 2007
Is MSN Mobile Free? -Not usually. Most phone companies charge a nominal flat rate fee ($3.00 - $7.00 a month) to download the software and access the network on your phone.
Disclaimer on my edits: I am an employee of MSN Mobile. Ry Jones 19:25, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
A new version of MSN Mobile with personalization features has just been released on September 25, 2008. It's a mobile website so there is no download or access charge for those who has unlimited data access plan with their mobile carrier. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.17.108.185 (talk) 00:55, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Something should be said about the commercial nature of the application; the license agreement forces me to accept that after 30 days I can be charged for using the application. As a result I've never tried the application and am looking for an open-source alternative for mobile. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.146.255.16 (talk) 14:40, 12 June 2009 (UTC)
Planned improvements
Hello to those that come across this page, I wish to invite everyone to help me with these planned improvements, I hope to write about Microsoft's suite of M.S.N. services available for various devices, here are the applications as listed:
- M.S.N. News
- M.S.N. Weather
- M.S.N. Money
- M.S.N. Sports
- M.S.N. Travel
- M.S.N. Food & Drink
- M.S.N. Health & Fitness
These applications will slowly and gradually be implemented into this article and they and their histories (which includes their ventures under Bing Mobile will be listed here) at present I must gather more sources to make this page more reliable, until every one of these are listed I shall keep this page as "outdated". Possible merger with the regular Microsoft Network page
Hello everyone, I want to suggest a merger with the regular MSN page, both content should largely overlap as Microsoft has merged the traditional M.S.N. Windows 8's M.S.N. and the Bing suite of applications into one M.S.N. portal, what's written here counts for the M.S.N. page, the only difference is that most M.S.N. branded applications (Applications 1 to 7) only go back to 2012 while the M.S.N. article goes back to 1995 so there is a bit more information needed for a merger, but so far both pages are relatively compatible.
