Merge?
Although they may be sold as stand-alone units, the history, technology, and application of the "cooler" and the "freezer" are the same. Both are refrigeration units that could be explained at refrigerator; one is simply turned up a notch. I would argue that this article should be merged and redirected into refrigerator unless there is something substantial about this term that means it should have a different article. To have them together would be much more informative considering the historical background on the refrigerator page, and the two would have to be constantly kept in synch. Merge2
Wondering about merging Freezer and Frozen food. Seams strange to have a frozen food article. There are not any Refrigerated Food articel, so I think Freezer is the best name. Not sure about the best solution with respect to Refrigerator, but merging Freezer and Frozen food I think should be done before Refrigerator-Freezer merge. Any ideas? - Kristod (talk) 22:55, 1 November 2006 (UTC)
- I don't know about the merge, but I have been collecting a few related pages at User:Tom harrison/ToDo#Refrigeration pages. Tom Harrison Talk 00:18, 2 November 2006 (UTC)
