Not sure how to report this, but the mobile page for "Ecology" has some sort of glitch whereby the text scroll can be shifted about a half inch to the left and off the screen. Can somebody on the back end fix this? Just letting you know. 142.114.188.138 (talk) 23:05, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Drmies, I use the desktop site on Android phones and my current phone is a Samsung Galaxy S21 Utra 5G. I just checked the page on the mobile view and it scrolls normally to me, but again I rarely use the mobile view because I dislike it. I suggest reporting the issue to Wikipedia:Village pump (technical), mentioning the device and operating system being used. Cullen328 (talk) 23:42, 31 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Article review
It has been a while since this article has been reviewed, so I took a look and noticed the following:
There are uncited statements in the article, including entire paragraphs and sections. While some uncited statements are covered by WP:CALC, most need citations
Fixed.
At over 10,500 words, this article is too detailed and WP:TOOBIG. I suggest that this article be spun out, summarised more effectively, or trimmed.
Each section with a "main" link should be in summary style. Accordingly I've trimmed the article by 20%, with usually one paragraph per "main"-linked section. Chiswick Chap (talk) 02:33, 9 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
I think the article is now tidy. Ecology is a major science and even when concisely summarized is necessarily substantial. The article already points to many subsidiary articles; the remaining material logically belongs at this the top level. Chiswick Chap (talk) 03:46, 9 July 2025 (UTC)[reply]
