Isn't p. corroboree also found in Victoria (Mt Buller?)Lizby 11:43, 24 August 2005 (UTC)
- Both corroboree frogs are only found in NSW and ACT. You may be thinking of the Baw Baw Frog, another endangered alpine species which is only found in VIC.--Tnarg 12345 09:49, 30 May 2006 (UTC)

Split
This should be split into separate articles for the two species. Hesperian 04:42, 21 May 2008 (UTC)
- Oppose - closely related enough for one article.--Kudpung (talk) 19:01, 4 August 2010 (UTC)
- Support - We have seperate articles for both species of Dwarf Siren even though they are similar enough for individual articles. TheDarkMaster2 (talk) 19:45, 27 May 2019 (UTC)
Proposed split?
- The following discussion is closed. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section. A summary of the conclusions reached follows.
- Stubs have been expanded since Casliber wrote them. This article is now general about the genus, though I'll split out a little more. This discussion is five years old and can probably afford to be closed. (non-admin closure) Cremastra (talk · contribs) 21:11, 10 August 2025 (UTC)
This was brought up 12 years ago but merits a heftier discussion. I propose splitting this page into two, one for each species of corroboree frog: Southern corroboree frog and Northern corroboree frog. I don't have an optinion on whether this page (corroboree frog) should be turned into a redirect or maintained as an article (maybe worth doing if the corroboree frogs are a monophyletic group?). Comments welcome! —Collint c 19:50, 1 November 2020 (UTC)
- Support - Due to differing statuses and conservation efforts for each species. Happily888 (talk) 04:05, 28 January 2022 (UTC)
- Support -- There is enough information to split it into two articles and they have different conservation efforts. Gusfriend (talk) 07:42, 5 February 2022 (UTC)
- Support - split as per reasons above and consistency of form with other TOL articles where all smaller stubs are acceptable. Loopy30 (talk) 11:50, 1 March 2022 (UTC)
- Support- no time to do it myself right now though, so have just added a redirect for the southern one so at least people can find their way here. Laterthanyouthink (talk) 06:54, 25 March 2022 (UTC)
- Support - I can do this in a bit Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 08:33, 25 March 2022 (UTC)
- update - have started stubs but 1am here and I need to sleep. more tomorow Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 14:05, 25 March 2022 (UTC)
