Magomed Kurbanov (wrestler)
Magomed Guseinovich Kurbanov (Russian: Магомед Гусейнович Курбанов; born 8 February 1993) is a Russian freestyle wrestler. He won the silver medal in the men's 92 kg event at the 2021 World Wrestling Championships held in Oslo, Norway.[1][2] In 2021, he also won the gold medal in the men's 92 kg event at the European Wrestling Championships held in Warsaw, Poland.[3][4] He is also a three-time medalist at the Russian National Freestyle Wrestling Championships. He won one of the bronze medals in the men's 92 kg event at the 2024 European Wrestling Championships held in Bucharest, Romania.[5] He defeated Denys Sahaliuk of Ukraine in his bronze medal match.[5] Achievements
