Joe's College Road Trip is an upcoming film directed by and starring Tyler Perry. While part of the Madea franchise, it is the first of its film to be about her brother Joe as he accompanies his grandson B.J. on his college road trip.

Plot

B.J. Simmons is planning to take a college road trip with his friends before heading to college. Not pleased with his choice of travel companions, Brian Simmons turns to Madea as they persuade B.J. to take Joe with him instead.

Production

Filming occurred in Las Cruces, New Mexico in January 2024.[2][3][4] Filming also occurred that same month in Memphis, Tennessee[1] as well as Clarksdale, Mississippi.[5]
