Subhash Chanchal is an Indian politician and a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from Uttarakhand, India. He has been associated with the party for several decades and has held various organisational positions.
Early life and education
Subhash Chanchal was born in Jwalapur, Haridwar district, Uttarakhand. He completed his postgraduate education in Economics (M.A.) and Commerce (M.Com.) from Chaudhary Charan Singh University.
Political career
Subhash Chanchal began his political career with the Bharatiya Janata Party and has been involved in organisational and electoral activities over the years.
In 1984, he contested the Lok Sabha election as a BJP candidate. In 1985, he became a member of the national executive body of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
In 2002, he was the BJP candidate from the Landaura Legislative Assembly constituency in Uttarakhand.
In 2005, he was appointed State Vice President of the BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha. In 2017, he became a member of the State Executive Body of the Bharatiya Janata Party in Uttarakhand. He continues to be active in party organisation as a senior leader.[1] [2] [3]

Subhash Chanchal is an Indian political activist and longtime worker of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), known for his involvement in grassroots politics in the Haridwar region of Uttarakhand.
Early Life and Education
Subhash Chanchal is the son of the late Shri Banarasi Das. He holds a Master of Arts in Economics and a Master of Commerce degree. He completed third-year training with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) (Training Course, 1997).
Political Career
Chanchal has been active in party politics for several decades:
In 1980, he undertook a jail journey in connection with political activities associated with the BJP.
In 1984, he contested the Lok Sabha elections from the Haridwar constituency as a BJP candidate.
In 1985, he served as a member of the BJP’s National Council.
In 1990, he held the position of District Minister for the BJP.
In 1991, he was again jailed in connection with activities supporting the Ram Temple movement.
In 2002, he contested the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections from the Laksar (Ladwara) constituency on a BJP ticket.
In 2005, he served as State Vice President of the BJP’s Scheduled Morcha.
From 2008 to 2012, and again in 2017, he was a member of the BJP State Executive Committee.
Party and Community Involvement
Chanchal has been a longtime BJP leader in local electoral politics. In a 2016 BJP meeting in Sheikhwala village, he spoke to party workers about organizing booth-level preparations for upcoming elections.
