History

MultiBank Group was founded in 2005 by Naser Taher as an online foreign exchange brokerage.[1]

Over time, the company expanded its product offering beyond foreign exchange to include contracts for difference (CFDs) on commodities, indices, and equities, operating through regulated entities in multiple jurisdictions.[2]

In 2022, MultiBank Group relocated its headquarters from Hong Kong to Dubai.[3]

Operations

MultiBank Group operates through multiple business divisions. Its core brokerage activities are conducted through MultiBank FX, which provides online trading services in foreign exchange and contracts for difference (CFDs) to retail and professional clients.[1][2]

In August 2025, MultiBank Group announced a collaboration with former mixed martial arts champion Khabib Nurmagomedov related to a sports-technology project involving digital asset tokenization.[6]

Leadership

The company was founded by Naser Taher, who serves as chairman. Zak Taher serves as Chief Business Officer of MultiBank Group and Chief Executive Officer of MultiBank.io.[1]
