JC Pretorius (from Nickelodeon’s Genius) was simply one of the student contestants on the South African kids’ quiz show Nickelodeon’s Genius—not a celebrity host or main TV personality.
Here’s who he was in that context:[1]
He was a high school learner from Voortrekker High School in Bethlehem, South Africa.
He competed as part of a team of three students (with Laneri Pretorius and Petrie van Staden).
Their team made it through regional rounds (Free State/Bloemfontein) into the later stages of the competition.
The show itself focused on maths, science, and problem-solving challenges for kids aged roughly 11–16.
