Ekdev Limbu, also known as Ekdev, is a singer, musician, music composer, lyricist and guitarist from Kathmandu, Nepal.[2][3] He is known for his contributions to the contemporary Nepali music. He is best known for his songs, including "Aankha Maa Aaune Sapani," "Aa Hai, Jhim Jhimaune Ankha," and "Sirful.[4][5]

Early Life and career

Limbu was born in Ilam, Nepal.[6] In 2013 he moved to Kathmandu, Nepal and started working in a Nepali music industry. As of Feb 2025 Limbu has given voice to more than 50 Songs. In December 2024, his song "Jhim Jhimaune Ankha"[7] achieved a significant milestone by becoming the third Nepali song to chart on both YouTube Global Trending and Spotify India charts.[8]
