Cheezious is a Pakistani fast-food restaurant chain known primarily for pizza. The company was founded in 2014 in Okara, Punjab, by Imran Ijaz and Faheem Ashraf.[1]

In 2024, one of its outlets received WWF-Pakistan's Eco Diner certification, described as the first restaurant in Pakistan to receive that certification.[2] Later that year, the company opened a 43,560-square-foot dine-in outlet in Lahore, described as Pakistan's largest pizza dine-in restaurant.[3]

History

In a 2025 interview, Cheezious marketing head Zohaib Hassan said that the company began as a pizza outlet in Okara in 2014 and later expanded into other cities in Punjab and northern Pakistan.[1] Hassan also said that the chain had 45 branches as of 2025.[1]

Operations

Cheezious's core product is pizza, while its menu also includes sandwiches, pasta, burgers, chicken wings, and French fries.[1] In September 2024, it opened a flagship dine-in outlet in Lahore with seating for more than 700 people.[3]

Environmental and community activities

In 2024, one of the company's outlets received WWF-Pakistan's Eco Diner certification.[2] The company also participated in a tree-plantation campaign in Islamabad, Lahore, and Peshawar.[4]

The company has also supported youth tennis initiatives in Islamabad, including the Sir Syed Cheezious Tennis Academy and the Sheheryar Malik Junior Tennis Championship.[5][6]

Awards and recognition

In 2023, Cheezious received the "Fastest Growing Restaurant Network of the Year" award at the Brand of the Year Awards.
