AirPlus International GmbH, headquartered in Neu-Isenburg near Frankfurt am Main, is a leading international provider of corporate payment solutions and employs around 1,260 people worldwide. Lufthansa AirPlus Servicekarten GmbH (“AirPlus”) was founded in 1989 from a former Lufthansa AG project. On August 1, 2024, AirPlus and all its international subsidiaries and branches were transferred from the Lufthansa Group to SEB Kort Bank AB, based in Stockholm, after the sale of AirPlus was contractually agreed in June 2023. SEB Kort Bank AB is a wholly owned subsidiary of the SEB Group.

In the course of this change of ownership, the company name was changed to AirPlus International GmbH on July 4, 2024.

AirPlus supports companies in the payment and evaluation of their business travel and other purchasing services. The payment solutions are available in 57 markets and are used by 55,000 customers worldwide. In 2023, AirPlus generated billing revenue of EUR 14.2 billion and counted 74.1 million transactions.

All AirPlus solutions are certified as climate-friendly with the impact label of the international climate protection organization myclimate.

AirPlus is an issuer of the UATP and Mastercard card schemes. The AirPlus Company Account is the most successful billing account within the UATP.

As part of the AirPlus Business Travel Index, AirPlus regularly analyzes customer flight data to identify travel trends.
