1970 tennis event results
Ken Rosewall defeated Tony Roche in the final, 2–6, 6–4, 7–6(5–2) , 6–3 to win the men's singles tennis title at the 1970 US Open.[ 1] It was his second US Open singles title and seventh Grand Slam tournament singles title overall.
Rod Laver was the defending champion, but lost in the fourth round to Dennis Ralston .
