Το Kings of Metal είναι το έκτο άλμπουμ του αμερικάνικου heavy metal συγκροτήματος Manowar, το οποίο κυκλοφόρησε στις 18 Νοεμβρίου του 1988 μέσω της δισκογραφικής εταιρείας Atlantic Records.[1]

Μετά την κυκλοφορία του δίσκου, αποχώρησε από το συγκρότημα ο κιθαρίστας Ross the Boss, ο οποίος λίγο αργότερα συνεργάστηκε με το Ντικ Μανιτόμπα στους Wild Kingdom.[2] Τη θέση του πήρε ο Ντέιβιντ Σανκλ, ενώ τον Σεπτέμβριο του 1989, αναγκάστηκε να αποχωρήσει και ο ντράμερ Σκοτ Κολούμπους, αλλά επέστρεψε τρεις μήνες αργότερα.[3]

Το "Kings of Metal" σκαρφάλωσε στο Top-50 των γερμανικών και σουηδικών τσαρτ και βραβεύθηκε ως χρυσός δίσκος στη Γερμανία το 1994.
