Isofix είναι το διεθνές πρότυπο για τα σημεία στερέωσης για παιδικά καθίσματα ασφαλείας στα επιβατικά αυτοκίνητα. Το σύστημα είναι ανάλογο με το LATCH στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες και LUAS ("Lower Universal Anchorage System») ή Canfix στον Καναδά. Ο μηχανισμός για τη στερέωση του καθίσματος με τα κάτω αγκύρια είναι αρκετά διαφορετική από ότι στις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες. Στην ΕΕ δύο κλιπ συνδέουν το κάθισμα στα Κάτω Άγκύρια ενώ στο LATCH είναι κρίκοι ανοιχτού τύπου.
